Message from Prof. Rehan Sadiq
Executive Associate Dean, School of Engineering
“It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the first annual Okanagan Engineering Conference. This event, formerly known as the Engineering Graduate Symposium, has a rich history of bringing together graduate students, faculty, and industry partners to share research topics, stimulate new ideas, and create new collaborations.
I hope you share my enthusiasm in exploring the innovative research that will be on display at our campus over the conference’s two days. I encourage you to investigate, ask questions and seek opportunities to uncover solutions to the challenges we face in today’s society.
Research at the School of Engineering has been a driving force behind entrepreneurship locally, provincially, nationally and internationally. Innovations stemming from this research are changing the world around us for the better. We thank our research collaborators and groups like Entrepreneurship @ UBC – Okanagan for their support.
Enjoy this year’s Okanagan Engineering Conference!”
